Arturo Islas: The Uncollected Works publishes gay Chicano author Arturo Islas's unpublished short fiction, poetry, and essays. After digging into the Islas papers held at Stanford University that hold an extensive collection of works, records, and papers, Aldama recovers and publishes the short fiction, poetry, and essays that Islas did not have the opportunity to publish. Aldama organized and edited the materials for them to be accessible and to broaden the vision of Arturo Islas as writer and thinker.
