Panelists covered a myriad of topics to highlight the portrayal of Latinos in comic books, including the rich mixed ethnic and cultural backgrounds of characters in comic books, stereotypes in Latino portrayals, and publishing and translation issues. Additionally, panelists shared highlights of work between REFORMA and the GNCRT to publish a joint Latinx graphic novel booklist for all librarians across the country!
